Giddy up close
Without doubt, it has been some time between posts.
Trying to post only when a new piece gets to the signature stage may not be the best strategy when it comes to consistant “blogging”. This wasn’t intended to be that kind of blog, but it’s been a few weeks now and the void is glaring at me from across the room.
To ensure that you are aware you are not the only one feeling neglected, you see my boy in the picture, Gideon, who is unmistakably peeved.
The gallery presenting my art is beginning to host “Wine With Taste”. It is a step by step tutorial given by an instructor (in this case, yours truely) who leads you through a painting while you sip wine (BYO) and enjoy time with your friends.
Sounds fun. Already, friends and neighbors are showing interrest in attending a class.
Models for marketing needed to be painted up quickly, so that sudden priority soaked up some time.
Then there’s this Sunday’s show at the Unami Ridge Winery that needs some fresh work, along with the other shows coming up.
So the studio has been busy, but the only pieces out the door have been examples for the party attendees. A few works in progress are laying about, you’ll be the first to know when something has been signed :).
