No, he does not.
.
Despite the fact that I am enjoying the way my latest experiment is going, he doesn’t give a hoot.
.
He seems unimpressed with all of my art- the sculpts, the paintings, the boxes and goofy little things I do just to try an idea. I’ll just have to keep working at it until something is created that he doesn’t turn his nose up at.
.
Sometimes he just up and walks away when he’s shown a piece.
Not very nice.
.
Others, he’ll simply roll over and go back to sleep.
Hurtful.
.
One day he just stared at me for a very uncomfortably long moment. The expression on his face said, “The wrong move here will cost you dearly, Human” and “Stop waking me up”.
Uncalled-for.
Or, meanest of all, he’ll hit me with The Cuteness-his most toxic enchantment.
He’ll stretch while rolling onto his back, his fluffy paws curled up under his sweet little face. He looks at you with huge, liquid eyes and before you know it, you’re hand is sinking into his very warm, incredibly soft fur. He’s trying to purr but only succeeding in clicking like a tribal native, and he holds you there.
Until you can either break the spell or, less likely at this point, because now your other hand is scritching behind his velvety ear, he loses interrest and goes back to sleep. You are trapped and don’t even realize it because he has you completely charmed.
